Martha (Marty) Evans
|
Martha's formal education is in elementary education. She taught school both in the St. Louis area and abroad. When she began raising her own children she made the decision to enter the world of business and has been involved ever since. She has been in real estate and building, sales from nuts, bolts and oil to cookies and gifts, retail with the family owned stores and manufacturing and wholesale of cookies, the “Hatz” resin figures and now scrapbook paper. These various businesses have given her a well rounded working knowledge of companies and how they operate from idea inception to marketing and distribution. Since her four children are grown she has time for her favorite hobbies which include reading, gardening, entertaining and traveling. She especially enjoys visiting her children who live from coast to coast and in between. |
| Fred lives, works and plays in the St. Louis area. He worked as a mechanical drafter and designer for ten years before switching to graphic design and illustration. His playful personality permeates his art coming out in his whimsical characters. Not only is Fred involved in scrapbooking paper designs, his characters found on these pages have been cast into resin figurines. He has created a whole new family of fun characters for all of us to enjoy with his “Hatz” and “Holiday Hatz” Collections. Fred enjoys spending time on the soccer field, reading a good book especially of a historical nature and keeping his friends laughing with his abundance of jokes and witty sense of humor. Life is good for Fred, along with his four great kids and grandchildren, including the newest baby boy from Russia. |

| Dave was often in trouble for drawing pictures instead of paying attention to what they thought was important. He was often told that "no one can make a living drawing pictures." He failed middle school art class for drawing pictures instead of making paper-mache strawberries. Dave tried to reform by studying geology in college until he discovered he couldn't make a living whacking rocks. After college he worked as a technical illustrator and still prefers drawing pictures to graphic design, rock whacking or making paper-mache strawberries. |
